Dryer Balls - Good Stuff??

I bought a pair of Dryer Balls at Restoration Hardware and have been using them all summer. I never have liked using dryer sheets and am happy to get rid of them. I don't know that they have reduced my dryer time any though. Still worth it in my eyes. Any input?

That is very interesting. I've never even heard of Dryer Balls. How exactly do they work exactly?

I've never heard of these either. Do they get all the static out? How much? I think this is very interesting!

Yes- they remove static and supposedly decrease drying time. Towels remain soft without the residue on them (which is great when cleaning mirrors and windows with towels). Dryer sheets aren't good because they will eventually increase your drying time if you don't clean your screen often. Well I just realized why they said it would decrease your drying time - isn't that funny. Aren't they cleaver? I guess that makes this a good purchase :)

I've used these for about 6 months - got mine at Walmart - and have been pretty happy with them. I made the switch because my kids - especially my one year old have kind of sensitive skin and dryer sheets can irritate their skin.

I have noticed recently that my clothes have had more static than usual, so I don't know if they are only good for so many loads and if I need new ones? I don't really notice a difference on the drying time but I have a terrible dryer - I don't think anything could help with that!

I think I would buy them again. It is convenient to not have to worry about dryer sheets! Plus, I hate touching dryer sheets with my hands. I don't like that harsh-feeling residue they leave. I think I would buy them again.
