Random Goodness

So here I am avoiding going to bed.  (TJ's out of town and I HATE going to bed when he's not home)  Anyhoo, some random goodies from my day that I thought I'd share!

The first is this goody from my trip to Costco today.  I have a daughter who does not like Capri Suns, Kool-Aid juice etc.  She loves Tree Top juice and Juicy Juice but I find the cost of that isn't worth the itty bitty boxes you get.  I'd have to put 2 or 3 in her lunch to make it worth her while.  So at Costco today I found a 24 pack of Tree Top Juice cans that are just a little bit smaller then pop cans.  I hope she likes it and I remember as a kid always enjoying bringing cool things in my lunch like canned drinks instead of drink boxes.  Hehehehe.

So I love cute David Archuletta.  When the Idol final was on I really didn't care which David won cause I loved them both.  If you haven't heard David A's new song "Crush" check it out!  Its great!

Jon and Kate Plus Eight...need I say more?  I LOVE this show.  If you're not familiar with it, its about a family with twin girls who are 7 and sextuplets who are now 4.  New episodes are on TLC on Monday nights at 8 mountain time, I think.  But never fear, it is TLC so you can probably find 3 or 4 re-runs a day.
Tune in!  Kate is an absolute RIOT and the show really inspires me to be a better mom.  I figure if Kate can handle 8 kids, including 6 four year olds then what is my problem with one 4 kids who are 8, 6, 4 and 1?  Besides that she is super super organized and the whole show is Reality Television at its best because its REAL!  They don't hold anything back and it is pure entertainment.  Besides that the kids are adorable!

And just as a side note, I started reading the Twilight series again today from the beginning.  I'm not very far into Twilight but its so interesting to go back and read it with the perspective I have now!  If you haven't done it and you have the time go back and read it!  Its fun, and I've forgotten a lot!

That's it for me for now.  Am I going to bed you ask?  Nope!  I'm gonna read some more Twilight!

A Dream Come True!

**SIGH. HOLD ME!**

For those that aren't in the know, (just kidding, I only know because I signed up for Twilight Moms and they send me update emails), TWILIGHT the MOVIE release date has been pushed up 3 weeks! The new premiere is NOVEMBER 21st, rather than December 12th! WOOT WOOT! For those that purchased tickets from me through TM's for the movie premiere party, I will let you know what is going on as soon as they let me know.

I'm just so excited I get to see it in November now, since Dec 12th was close to my due date! But let's get real, I'm sure I would have been there anyways!

Twilight Moms

Someone told me about this website - Twilight Moms. OK, I thought I was a Twilight fan and borderline obsessed with the series but these ladies at Twilight Moms are hardcore!!!. They have a Forum with tons of good info and they even have rules to join: 1) you have to be at least 25 years old 2) you have to be married and 3) you have to have kids.

So, I was browsing through the Forum the other day (you don't have to join to read - just to post) and they have a whole section of the Forum dedicated to the movie. Some of the "moms" live near Portland, where Twilight is currently being filmed. They have taken it upon themselves to become Twilight detectives and have figured out where they are filming, what high schools they are using, etc. But they didn't just stop there - they also decided to become stalker moms and stake out the set and actually got photos with some of the cast. The link below has pictures and then the accompanying story about each of the pictures they were able to get. Some of the stories are pretty funny (like meeting the cast, and the High School pics) - these ladies mean business and won't accept failure!! Check it out:

These ladies definitely stay on top of the Twilight news, so there's lots of good info in the Forum. Enjoy!

For those of us on here that are obsessed, Stephenie posted some new photos on her website of the Cullen Family - it's now fully casted!

She also posted some photos of when she went to dinner with the cast...I'm so excited, I can barely stand it! Perhaps a WKTGS weekend will be in order?

Twilight...at 11 pm?

Yeah, that's right. I finally started reading (Beau's out of town hunting) and I can't put it down. I started a couple of hours ago and I'm about 200 pages in. If I keep up this pace, I'll have a complete opinion by morning. :) Here's to hoping I get some sleep!

G'Night!

Forks, Washington

http://www.forkswa.com/index.html
The previous link will take you to a homepage that shows you Forks, Washington.
There is a link on the left side menu that says TWILIGHT POINTS OF INTEREST.
After clicking the link, a map of the actual places in Forks, WA are located that are spoken about in "Twilight." Kinda neat!

Missing Edward and Bella!

Sad, but true, but exciting all at the same time. I finished Eclipse last night. It was sooooooo good but it is bitter sweet since I have nothing to read now. I miss Edward and Bella! : ( I hope Stephenie gets on it and writes another one. She said on her website that she will...does anyone have any updated information on that???

Jacob or Edward?

Another Stephenie Myers post! Sorry non-SM fans. I just have to ask - is there really anyone out there who is pro-Jacob??? For me - it's ALL about Edward!

I felt 14 again...

Okay girls...so we had THE MOST AMAZING "ECLIPSE" party ever!~ My neighbor Tara hosted it in her awesome backyard, strung with red christmas lights, great food, and Twilight/New Moon/Vampire trivia. The whole ambiance was done by candlelight and the red Christmas lights. We talked all about funny vamipre trivia, my friend Mandy made these questions up from the Twilight Lexicon website (if you've never been there...go now...it's AWESOME). We took some photos, and then we were off to Barnes and Noble for the madness. They were having a huge party with a trivia game, dress up contests, and scavenger hunts. IT WAS PURE MADNESS! It felt like the time when Angie and I went to the Backstreet Boys Concert, and when she was on the phone with the ticket people and she asked them if they had an "over 14" section. The place was swarming with teenagers and their "I LOVE EDWARD" shirts and tattoo's (which i had on also, of course). Anyways, after about 20 mintues of madness, we left and went to Borders to see what their party was like. There were tons of people, but they were getting everyone in line already. We had #26 for Barnes and Noble, so we left Borders and headed back to Barnes. We got there with 5 mintues to spare. They did a 20 second countdown, and we were in! We left buying 5 books, and were outta there in about 6 mintues. Everyone was cheering and screaming like Justin Timberlake was in line or something. It was such a site to see! I am still reading (I wanted to savor it, and have un-interrupted time to enjoy it), but we'll have a dialouge once everyone is finished so we don't ruin it for anyone!

Twilight=AWESOME!!!!

Okay girls...sorry I've been MIA on the website but I've been a little busy...I know you all understand! So just to let you all know that I started on Twilight. Holy Crap! I LOVE it. I read it everytime I sit down to feed the baby and it is so amazing. As I've been reading I've been trying to cast the parts also. I can't think of anyone beautiful enough to play Edward though...keep up the search Shannon. I know there's someone out there. Anyways, that's about it for me for now.

I would agree...

Okay, if you haven't jumped on the Twilight bandwagon...DO IT NOW! I just bought 2 more copies for my 2 sisters...and I am forcing them to read it. I think they'll thank me later!

Here's one who I have in mind for Edward...but with the Topaz eyes...James Marsden.
I'll have to keep searching the IMDB for more...

So onto other things...my new curling iron. It's really so fun and it makes your hair wavy rather than curly. I curl my hair at night, and then sleep on it, and it goes totally wavy. Sally's, $40!
Here's my other note...have you all visited kraftfoods.com? You can sign up for their free cooking magazine and free calendar. They have great ideas for easy foods and fun ideas. Along with Family Fun. They have a great website and their magazine is awesome (sorry you never got yours julie...they've never called me back as to why you got shafted.) It's totally worth the money for the subscription.

Vampire? Are you kidding? NOPE, I'm not!

Okay, so as per Shannon's request I am making the first post! To go along with the name of our blog, I must say that as far as this book is concerned Shannon got it right - We DO know the Good Stuff!

To any of you unbelievers let me share my PE (personal experience) with Twilight. To preface I need to tell you that I belong to a book club and have for a few years. Almost all of the books we have read have been awesome. Especially the books my friend Tamara chooses. IE Snowflower and the Secret Fan, GREAT BOOK. So when Tamara introduced Twilight to us a few months ago, I was completely sceptical! Her description was "Its a youth novel about a vampire with a Romeo and Juliet twist." "What? No WAY! I have no interest in reading a book about a Vampire. I think I'll sit this one out!" Of course I didn't say that outloud but certainly was thinking it! So, I went home and decided that maybe I would give it a chance since Tamara always chooses great books! To summarize, I couldn't put it down! I read it in 2 days and then went out and bought New Moon that night! I read it in 2 days as well! There is so much more to the book than a Vampire, may I just say! There is mystery, intensity, passion and adventure! All in the best ways! The author is LDS and has a way of creating a sexual tension like none other I've ever read! The greatest thing though is that she has kept it totally clean! So to any of you doubters out there, go ahead, try it. You will not be sorry!

Now to just finish off my rant about this fabulous book, I must say that Edward (the Vampire) is my new boyfriend ( he is Shannons too). He's a great boyfriend to have because he isn't real. However, if he were real, Adam might be in trouble :-). The way he is described in the book and the way he always seems calm, cool and collected is so attractive. If they ever make a movie out of this book (which they are planning to right now) I hope they do a good job casting for him! Who they cast for Edward will seriously make or break the movie! After everyone has read the book, lets talk about who we think should play the roles! I have a few ideas myself. What are yours? (include pictures)
