Behind The Scenes with MTV

I don't know if you've seen this yet. My friend who told me about the other video I posted now just told me about this one. I didn't realize Twilight was coming out just 2 weeks after the newest Harry Potter movie. You can go to this site on MTV.

Step Up!

So, you all may have seen the movie "Step Up." But I just have to blog about it. I am in love with this movie...and I'm not even a dancer! I just dowloaded the soundtrack, and it's AWESOME to work out to. So, if you've never seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it! I haven't seen Step Up 2...(still in theaters I think), have any of you seen the 2nd one? Is it as good? I've watched this one 4 times in the last week alone...can we say addicted?

Behind The Scenes

Did you all see this? My friend told me she caught a bit of it on TV last night so of course I went to You Tube to find the clip.

In Style Best Beauty Buys!

One of my favorite magazine issues of the year is on newsstands! It's the annual In Style Best Beauty Buys issue. They rate all several beauty products by categories, based on reviews and feedback from the professionals in the industry. It's always a good place to refer to when you want to try something new. It's also great that they often award both an "inexpensive" and "expensive" item within a category - that way if you don't want to spend $150 for your face cream, they provide a reasonable option.

The great news is that they also have the list of all the best buys online - so check it out.

Stephenie Meyer Interview

Here's a link to a great interview Stephenie Meyer did with MTV. It has some good info in it - such as she has a cameo in the Twilight movie (I'm sure some of you Twilight Moms and other "Twi-hards" already knew that) and she also talks about wanting to see the Host made into a movie and her casting picks. Good stuff!

Favorites Please...

It's time for me to replace my washer and dryer. I've had this whirlpool set for 8 years, and it needs to be retired. So I went to check out a new set, and hello, it's like we've been liv'n in the dark ages. The technology has changed so much!! With that said, I am leaning towards the Whirlpool Cabrio (top loader). Apparently it can wash a bigger load than any of the front loaders....and I am the kinda girl who religiously washes down comforters etc. I'm nuttsy about washing. I'm very particular. I wash a ton! I really need some WKTGS feed back. Thank you :-)

Scentsy!

I just wanted to tell you all about a fabulous new candle product called Scentsy! Scentsy is definitly the hottest new thing in candles! Our candles are wickless, flameless, smokeless and lead free. Our warmers use a small 25 watt bulb to heat the wax and fill your house with an amazing fragrance. I just signed up as a consultant a month ago and I am totally in love with them! I burn mine in my house constantly, and I can because it is so safe! No need to worry about catching your house on fire because there is no flame!
Scentsy also features room sprays, car candles, and of course, wax in over 80 scents. Our warmers are super cute and I'm sure you could find one to match your home. Scentsy is also extremely reasonably priced and makes a great gift. Mother's Day is coming up soon and I can't think of a better gift for mom! For more information about Scentsy, visit my website at
Also, I am going to give away a room spray to one lucky We Know the Good Stuff reader. Just leave a comment and your name will be entered in a drawing for a free Scentsy room spray. The contest will end next Friday, April 18. Good luck!

Follow the River

Okay ladies, to begin I must say that I was told about this book from Marilee.  In fact, she was so adamant that I read it, she actually bought it for me.

It is called Follow the River by James Alexander Thom and it is phenomenal!  It is so riveting and compelling and I literally could not put it down once I got into it.  I'm not going to lie though...it is not light reading.  It is tense, heart-pounding, emotional, nauseating reading.  There are some very graphic, violent parts and one part in particular in the very beginning that will literally make you sick but if you press on you will be amazed at the power of the human spirit, and inspired to become a better person yourself.  It will even remind you that miracles do happen.

If you need a little distraction from the Cullen family, or something to pass the time until August, check this book out.

Thanks Mar, it really was fascinating and inspiring!

Go to this link to read more about it:

Well, since I seem to enjoy joining things (joined Twilight Moms, it's fantastic, can hardly wait to get home from work to read the posts and meet these fabulous ladies), I wanted to throw it out to my WKTGS ladies: Anyone wanna run the Susan G. Komen, Race 4 the Cure on, Saturday May 10th, at the Gateway in SLC? Here is the website with details...we can even form a team: http://www.komenslc.org/RaceForTheCure/GeneralInformation/tabid/80/Default.aspx

Please comment back to me if you'd like to join us in the race...so far Julie B. and I are going for sure. If we get enough people that want to do it, I'll form a team.

TO add to the FEVAH!

As much as I try to keep my obsession at a low burn, too much is happening to do it. I saw this picture, and to me, it personifies how edward and bella feel about each other. TO ADD TO THAT, I am like a giddy schoolgirl awaiting the visit of the creator herself, Stephenie Meyer, to our humble valley.

Someone, HOLD ME!!!!
How I LONG to talk with her and get inside the twilight universe. Only then will the journey on the twilight train be complete!

As an intelligent, controlled woman, I am Fascinated by the fact that these books give me a fever I cannot quench, send my mind reeling in a thousand different directions, make me long to meet one of these vampires, and turn me into a crazed, obsessed adolescent once again. Don't get me wrong...I AM LOVING THE RIDE!!!!
