So, I kept hearing about this foot file by Diamancel. Every year in the In Style Best Beauty Buys issue (my favorite!!!) It is always rated the best.
It's pretty spendy so I didn't buy it but finally earlier this year I got some money for my birthday and broke down and bought it. Amazing!!! It is $38 and is the Diamancel Callus Conqueror #20. It is incredible for that dry, thick, cracked skin around heels. I think it is made with diamonds and is supposed to last for about 5 years. It is pricey but when you think about it, it's only about the same price as one pedicure. Anyway - I LOVE this product! I think they sell it at beauty.com, so you can order this and the DIMRS together! :)

Louise...you are cracking me up! That is hilarious. I for sure need an end of summer raking too! All my "need to get" items that I'm learning from all of you girls are sure starting to rack up! I don't know how TJ will feel about our blog after all my purchases. Hehehe.
I'm SOOOO getting one of these to go with my smooth boobs! My heels are SOOOOO cracked from the blisters I got when I did the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
That is such an awesome item! My feet are in such terrible shape right now, I'm surprised they don't snag the sheets!
mine are narsty! like, i mean they have dirt caked into my cracks and crevices from gardening w/o shoes on. maybe i'll convince my sister to buy it and then i can borrow it!
I think we should all take pictures of our narsty cracked heels and vote on whose look the worst. Then everyone else can pitch in and buy the winner (the person with the worst cracked heels) one of these things!! I think I'd win for sure! My one heel is so bad it causes me pain, tears and blood! Yuck!!!
Marilee, That is one sick idea. I don't want to see how nasty eveyones feet are! Yuck! But then again maybe I would win!

These comments are grossing me out! I didn't think it could get worse with Shannon's dirt toe jam but than Marilee suggested proof! What is wrong with you people, my feet are smooth and beautiful. Okay I'm a dirty rotten liar but even so please don't send pictures. :)
I'm getting really tempted to take pictures. I would TOTALLY win! Not kidding! When I walked the 26.2 miles I got 4 NASTY blisters. Two on each of my heals. All but three have healed, the fourth is about an inch long, and has a crack, parallel to the ground going right through it. The dry spot is a long oval shape and the crack extends the entire length with another little tiny vertical crack making it look like an abnormal sized "t". Beat that girlies :-)
I have seen Mar's crack (the one on her heel, ladies...) and it looks more painful than it does gross. So, I think she would win the contest but she did walk 26.2, so I think it would be well deserved!
don't speak so soon...my left heel has cracked (okay, and i've peeled) almost 1/2 of the pad of my heel back. i have cracks and crevices you'd never imagine on someone. when i go to bed at night, i can hear my scaley heels scratching the sheets. they are narsty. although i have been sloughing them every night and putting cracked heel creme on them and wrapping them in socks. it's awful.
