I'm not so sure, he doesn't really do it for me, I guess I will have to see him in action!
I'm certainly not opposed to him but I'm with Heather, I'll have to see him in action! The picture of him is kind of goofy! I'm VERY happy about who they cast for Bella!
I think I'm gonna like this movie! I LOL when I saw they casted Kristen Stewart as "Bella". Only because my book club read "Speak" so I checked out the movie at the library and she was the girl. Funny that she's cast as the main roll in the last two books I've read. Ya, I'm defiantly going to like this movie.
So I can't wait for the movie. How much longer do we have to wait? Maybe it said it on that site... I just looked at the pictures. I think they people they have chosen seem good. I agree, I'll have to see it to decide if he's good enough.
I read on the site that filming starts in February and its due out in Dec. 08! Cant wait! we might have to have our first ever WKTGS Retreat the weekend the movie comes out so we can all go together. After all, "Twilight" was the inspiration behind Shannon and I starting this website. It would only be fitting for all members to go see Twilight together don't ya think?:-)
Great idea Mar! I love the girl they cast as Bella too. Edward will need a new hair do and really good lighting to pull this off...oh it's hard to be perfect in every way!
he's definately not MY edward...they better fix his hair and eyes and then we'll see. i do like bella...i just hope they "normal" her down!
I prefer the choice for Bella over Edward. But, does the perfect Edward exist? When the movie does come out, I bet this blog will be a busy place! Can't wait? Should we go to the place where the story takes place to watch it??
I love who they picked for Bella but Edward? NO WAY is he my choice! But like Yvette said...does the perfect Edward exist? Probably only in my mind. We'll just have to see when the movie comes out. I'm actually having a hard time believing they'll be able to pull this movie off without it coming across cheezy.
You might think I'm crazy but I'm pretty excited for the Edward choice. I think he looks like he has just the right balance of "prettiness" and warmth with enough ruggedness to make all Edward's other super-human "powers" believable. Also, he's supposed to be a great actor - I've only seen him in HP but thought he was great. Personally, I haven't been able to visualize or imagine anyone as Edward but I can totally see him as Edward. Can't wait - the release date is supposed to be 12-12-08.
Where are you guys finding that the release date is this coming December? I swear I didn't think it was that soon.
Jocelyn - I found the release date on the internet movie database - imdb.com. That is also what it said on Robert Pattison's website (actor playing Edward). Since they haven't even started filming, I'm sure it's subject to change but I'm hoping for December!
